Tight Race for Titan Poker Rakemania Prizes

The top players on the February 7 to 12 Rakemania leaderboards finished just Stars apart in what was undoubtedly the closest cash game races ever staged at Titan Poker.

Indian player "KOCairna" won the Rakemania Low Blinds Leaderboard race by a margin of just one Star. He finished in first place with a total of 1,028 Stars for the week-long race, while Romanian player "IamSlevin" finished in second place with a total of 1,027 Stars. For his first place finish, "KOCairna" brought home a prize of $255, while "IamSlevin" received $160 for second place.

The Rakemania High Blinds Leaderboard race was nearly as close, with two Russian players battling it out for the top prize. The winner of the race was "morpheuZZ" with 213 Stars, while "BlankRainbow" finished in second place with 208 Stars. For finishing first, "morpheuZZ" was awarded a prize of $765, while "BlankRainbow" received $480 for bagging second place.

The Rakemania races rank players based on the rake they generate at Titan Poker's No Limit Hold'em cash tables. Players are ranked with Stars, with 1 Star awarded for every $2 in rake generated by a player at the low blinds tables, and 1 Star awarded for every $10 in rake generated by a player at the high blinds tables.

A total of $12,000 is up for grabs during the month of February, with the second week of the Rakemania promotion running from February 14 to 19.

To be eligible for Rakemania prizes, players must opt-in to the promotion on the Titan Poker website before playing in No Limit Hold’em cash games.
