Pennsylvania New Bill Hopes to Allow Table Games at Casinos
New legislation in regards to the bill that will allow table games at the Casino in Pennsylvania has now passed the State o f the House of Representatives and is only waiting for the approval of Governor Ed Rendell.
This could one of the good news for the people living in that state for upcoming job opportunities for them. As of the moment, the state is facing a budget deficit around $250 million. People in the state hopes that the approval of this new bill will help them overcome their state deficit for casino fees are around $16.5 million for strand –alone casinos and horse tracks. Another $7.5 million fro resort license fees and $1.8 million for local funding that can help the state come up enough funds to regain their deficit.
Tax payers believe that signing this new bill and allowing it to make happen helps them to lessen the burden they are paying in their taxes. But according to Representative Jennifer Mann, Bethlehem would benefit the most to this project for it is where the casino is located.
Pennsylvania can now welcome different players to play and compete in their newest tables for world class poker players. They can also open doors for tournaments and big competitions.
