Freddy Deeb Take Home WPT Grand Prix de Paris High Roller
Not only Dane Theo Jorgensen take the spotlight during the Party Poker World Tour's Grand Prix de Paris, but also main event that has a €20,000 High Roller tournament with 24 poker stars entrants and Freddy Deeb who turn it for €290,000.
In the said tournament, Deeb enters the final table as second in chips, the latest Titan Poker pro Sorel Mizzi. As it was expected it was the two who wound up in the heads-up in the field of competition, as Mizzi gather down a 2:1 chip lead. The WSOP bracelet-winner Deeb hang up, even so, he was lucky enough to have AK vs. AQ to set up a stack.
On top of it, the final hand walks in with another AK vs. AQ with Mizzi on the worst side of the competition. When the board was empty Deeb was not assured if he had Mizzi covered, however, when it pass off he congratulated his opponent cheerfully.
The full final table payouts includes, Freddy Deeb with €290,000 in the first place, Sorel Mizzi with €120,000 as second, Roger Hairabedian (€40,000) and Gianni Giaroni (€25,262) who were in the 3rd and 4th place respectively.
